June was a very eventful month that brought great change in our lives.  After a wonderful celebration of the 11th Anniversary of the Inner Peace Treaty™ that included a two part Blog Talk Radio global teleconference hosted by Anita Pathik-Law with founding President of the American Holistic Medical Association, C. Norman Shealy,  M.D., PhD,  noted author and cancer surgeon, Bernie Siegel M.D., Earth wisdom teacher Brooke Medicine Eagle, author and publisher of Miracles Magazine Jon Mundy PhD., and myself as American Healing Arts Alliance Inc., Founder and President.  See links below to  listen in at:  

 

 

There events were followed by a workshop here at Peace Point with Jon Mundy PhD. and then a trip to Virginia Beach to an A Course in Miracles conference at the Association for Research and Enlightenment with Kenneth Wapnik PhD.  We almost canceled our trip to hear Kenneth the day before after my husband received notice that he was part of a group of employees being laid off from work.  It was a sudden shift for both of us.  It was not without many indications that it was time for a new beginning.  The event seemed perfectly timed amidst all the inspiring words throughout the month reminding us as it says in A Course in Miracles that "I can see peace instead of this" (ACIM, Workbook Lesson 34). 

 

It has certainly been a month of heightened intuition as often occurs whenever there is sudden change. It may seem unfair timing if you don't always recognize that there is always guidance available to us from moment-to-moment that we don't consistently choose to listen to and accept as available to us until we feel our choices are limited.  The irony is that until you realize that are only two choices freedom to choose may seem illusive.  The one choice to see only two choices ultimately leads to great freedom as a release from all limitation.  The choice is always to reject or accept our own inner guidance "out of the far country" whenever we think fearful thoughts. And, as Marianne Williamson so aptly titled in her first best-selling book about her experiences as A Course in Miracles student, we can allow ourselves to be gently inwardly guided to "Return to Love" every time a fear thought comes up.  

 

The process of "returning to love" is always a profound experience once you realize it is a choice to return to a place in our mind where we have never left to begin.  This place is actually not a place at all but rather as state of open-mindedness where Love's Presence is always there to guide us.  When we are ready sooner then later this loving Presence will reveal what has never been secret or hidden inside our own mind as our constant Companion.  This loving Companion known by many Names is always inside us as "beside us" as a comforting Thought indeed.  I am very grateful for the many comforting words offered by family and friends through trying times as a reminders of the one Mind that speaks through us all when we "let It be".

DESCRIPTION: This in-depth training is for those who have completed the Hands Healing Techniques introductory course.   The exercises are designed for individuals, couples and as a group are to further develop greater hands healing skills and a heightened awareness of subtle energy multi-sensory abilities.  You will be shown how to use your hands as an extension of your mind to direct energy flows in and around the body.  This includes in-depth practices of sending and receiving healing to others and yourself.   Numerous subtle energy medicine techniques, research and professional  practices are also covered including Qi-gong, Reiki, Johrei, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, Touch for Heal, Polarity, psychic and spiritual healing, Peace Pulse™ and other hands healing methods.

DESCRIPTION: Peace Nouvella™  is an international educational peacebuilding project that I have been following inner guidance about since 1994. This experiential presentation is co-creatively designed as an introduction to the Peace Nouvella™ comprehensive course of study.  Individual and group participation includes lecture, discussion and experiential exercises.  The words Peace Nouvella mean "a new peace scripted in the heart, co-authored with God". DESCRIPTION  In this introductory course the body is seen as a means of communication that can express health as well-being or unhealthiness as suffering.  As a means of communication, the body can convey the underlying cause of a physical issue as "dis-ease" or other unhealthy conditions. The topics covered include physically based anatomical maps as well as subtle energy maps in relationship to our five senses as communication channels.  When there is interference to this communication it can lead to unhealthy conditions as emotional and physical pain, sickness, accidents, and an increased rate in the aging process. When these communication channels are restored to full functioning we experience greater wellness as physical health and emotional well-being both individually and collectively.

DESCRIPTION  This will be an experiential application of the information presented in the introductory class.  We will be including group and individual practice sessions to help you learn to sense this communication for yourself within your own body as messenger.  The purpose is to assist you in releasing self-limiting thoughts that have an effect on your self-healing abilities.  We will also help you develop and establish reliable skills that you can use for yourself and to help others in a gentle supportive unfolding process toward greater health and well-being.

This work combines their knowledge and skills in subtle energy healing and functional physical anatomy. DESCRIPTION This class covers the process of designing and illustrating childrens' books.  You will make your own book "dummy" and gain an overview understanding of the childrens' book field.  The technical aspects of creating a book as well as the stages of design, illustration and production from beginning to end will be covered.  You will also become acquainted with the terms and various aspects of book production, printing, and the children's book publishing market.
